An inclusive conference – welcome!

We are committed to making our Chronic Living conference as welcoming as possible. We meet in a spirit of collective exploration of some of the crucial challenges and possibilities that chronic living in the 21st century entails. Junior and senior scholars as well as colleagues working in the public, private and civil society sectors from around the world are all invited to join. We will be speaking in English and thank everyone for making this possible.

We have chosen our conference venue at Scandic Sluseholm with accessibility in mind. The conference hotel welcomes families and children, if you would like to have organized childcare during the conference please send Vicki Antosz an email (va@samf.ku.dk) by 15 December 2019 so that we can get an overview.

We endorse and encourage all participants to familiarize themselves with the inclusive conference guidelines initially developed by the Society for Medical Anthropology’s Disability Research Interest Group which are available here.

If you have any questions related to accessibility and accommodations please don't hesitate to get in touch with the conference organizing committee via Vicki Antosz: va@samf.ku.dk.

Chronic Living is the final conference of the research project “The Vitality of Disease – Quality of Life in the Making” funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s
Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement 63927 – VITAL).
